Dr Peggy Oti-Boateng is the Senior Programme Specialist for Science and Technology and also serves as the Coordinators for the African Network of scientific and Technological Institutions (ANSTI) in the UNESCO Multi-Sectoral Regional Office in Harare, Zimbabwe. As UNESCO Senior Advisor for Africa on Science, Engineering and Technology and ANSTI coordinator she provides technical assistance and support to the African Union Commission, regional economic blocks, member states and universities in the promotion of science technology and Innovation (STI) policies and access to knowledge; mobilization of broad-base participation in STI and; human resource and research capacity building in basic and engineering sciences and renewable energy, with a passion for promotion of gender in science and engineering.
