Off with their heads!
1757th meeting
Why does Oxford have so many problems with city trees, what should we plant, and why perhaps should we take a “leaf” from the French? Using examples of tree plantings in Paris Ian Gourlay will discuss Oxford’s trees, present and future.
He is a former wood anatomist at the Department of Forestry (now Plant Sciences) and is involved with The Forest of Oxford group, The Oxford Tree Club, the Wychwood Project, Oxford Organics group and Oxfordshire Garden’s Trust!
