The Limits of Private Governance: Norms and Rules in a Mediterranean Fishery
Dr Florian Grisel is a Research Fellow (Chargé de recherche) at the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS) and an Associate Professor in Transnational Law at King’s College London. Florian is interested in the notion of “legal order”, how it is constructed to analyse the state’s monopoly over the emergence of legal norms, and therefore lacks relevance when applied to norms that develop outside the state.
