Sensitivity of CEST MRI for pH measurement in brain metastases
Summary: “Chemical Exchange Saturation Transfer (CEST) is an MRI contrast mechanism that has the potential to non-invasively measure pH in vivo. This talk will summarise recent work from the Sibson group on developing relevant biological phantom models of tumour and brain tissue, and using these phantoms to measure the sensitivity of CEST MRI for pH measurement of brain metastases.
