Financial wellness
Showcasing research from the Oxford Future of Finance and Technology Initiative
This free-to-attend webinar will discuss the various dimensions of financial wellness and how entrepreneurs are striving to have an impact in the area. Financial wellness is defined as the overall health of an individual’s financial life and includes the individual’s financial literacy, as well as ability to attain financial security and therefore prevent stress due to financial struggles. The speakers will explore the ways fintech has been enabling financial wellness and what remains to be done to achieve broad impact. They will also share research highlights on the topic from the Oxford Future of Finance and Technology Initiative (OFFTI).
The discussion, chaired by Pinar Ozcan, Professor of Entrepreneurship and Innovation and OFFTI Academic Director, will start with a short presentation from Yunus Isik, Doctoral Candidate in Management Studies, and Padmini Gupta, CEO and co-founder of social finance platform, Xare.
A Q&A session with Janine Hirt, CEO, Innovate Finance, will follow.
