"Theology and Development Studies: Combining the Catholic Social Tradition and Amartya Sen's Capability Approach to Promote Integral Human Development"
Our hope is to maintain a core group of participants, who
* offer works-in-progress in modern theology for group consideration
* seek and provide constructive feedback
* regularly attend and contribute to a theological conversation as a community of scholars.
As in Michaelmas term, I will disseminate the presenter’s paper in advance, so that people can read and digest it in preparation for Friday. At the seminar, the presenter gives a brief (3-5 minute) précis of the project and answers any clarifying questions. Then s/he goes quiet for about 25 minutes, while the remaining participants discuss the points presented in the paper as-is. After that, the presenter re-enters the conversation to field further questions/objections.
