Doing History from the Inside: a workshop with Allida Black
Allida Black is a historian and advisor to Hillary Rodham Clinton, a former advisor to Liberian President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, and distinguished expert on women’s rights, human rights and the creation of the UNHCR. In this special workshop, Allida will talk about her work as Hillary Rodham Clinton’s historian. It will be an opportunity to discuss how history can be recorded in the present, and how, as scholars, we can better understand the process of decision-making at the very top of American government.
A sandwich lunch will be provided.
The event is open to all, but best suited to postgraduates and postdocs.
