Communicating the climate crisis to children
How do we talk to children about climate change? What can kids and adults learn from each other about how to approach such a controversial and scary subject? Should we protect young people from knowledge of the very real dangers of the climate crisis, or should we trust them with the full truth? These were the questions our panellists, Janice Lao and Dr Steve Smith dealt with as they each worked on their recent books for children about the climate crisis. Join us for a discussion of these questions, and bring your own for Janice and Steve.
SoGE alumna Janice Lao and Oxford Net Zero Director Dr Steve Smith in conversation about their recent climate change books for kids. Online talk in the main programme of Meeting Minds Global 2021.
