Structure of malaria invasion protein RH5 with erythrocyte basigin and blocking antibodies.
RH5 is a malaria protein essential for parasite invasion of red blood cells. In this talk, I will present the first structural insights into red blood cell binding by RH5 and the prevention of this interaction by antibodies.
