Behaviour change from the inside out: Psychosocial approaches to sustainability, energy and climate change

Psychosocial research techniques place affect and emotion centrally within design, drawing on learnings from social work, psychotherapy, counselling and community work.

Our two-day workshop will explore how psychosocial techniques can add new dimensions to sustainability research, including theoretical foundations, a flavour of a range of specific tools (in-depth interview design, narrative analysis, using these methods in concert with surveys, polling and focus groups) as well as hands-on practice and case study analysis. Booking is now open: places are limited to 25 and are filling up so we advise you to book soon.
