Oral history: a close reading workshop
Tess Little (All Souls) will briefly present her project, followed by an excerpt of one of her interviews. As a group, we will have the opportunity to discuss the transcript and recording, asking questions of the transcript, and considering methods of interpretation and analysis. Students and researchers are then invited to share excerpts of their transcripts to discuss collectively or in pairs, generating ideas and problem shooting difficulties, and challenging interviews.
This session is only open to members of the University of Oxford.
