What does a feminist curriculum look like?
In celebration of International Women’s Day, join us for a discussion exploring the multifaceted nature of curriculum and its alignment with feminist politics in educational institutions.
We will be exploring, challenging and understanding feminism as an empowerment ideology, methodological research tool, and its relevance to the emergence and instantiation of women’s gender and sexuality studies. The panel of academics will also delve into discussion about a feminist curriculum which fosters critical thinking and empowers; discuss the risks associated such as co-optation and tokenism; and consider the importance intergenerational exchanges.
