Social Assistance and Climate Adaptation: Impacts and Design
Social assistance is widely seen as an effective instrument to address poverty. This presentation asks if (1) Different social assistance interventions to support wellbeing also address climate adaptation and resilience and (2) how vulnerability analyses can contribute to more effective design of social assistance efforts in contexts of heterogeneous distributions of poverty and vulnerability.
