Planning for impact in international development research projects
How do we create meaningful and relevant impact in international research projects funded by Overseas Development Assistance (ODA)? How is ODA-related research impact different to that measured in the UK’s Research Excellence Framework (REF)? Where can we find examples of best practice?

The PEAK Urban project is hosting an afternoon of panel discussions at the Oxford Martin School involving academics and policy people who have had success in research into use and research into action. Each panel discussion will be followed by a Q&A session, and a drinks reception after the event will allow for networking opportunities. The afternoon will be of particular relevance to early-career researchers but is open to everyone interested in hearing more about research impact.

PEAK Urban is funded by UK Research and Innovation as part of the UK government’s Global Challenges Research Fund.
