Dr Allen has just joined Oxford University from the WHO where he has been working on health inequalities and population-level prevention of chronic non-communicable diseases. His insights might well provide lessons for the more developed healthcare systems of high-income countries.
He continues to work on health service integration and multi-sectoral action with WHO Europe while also doing the Oxford GP trainee programme (currently psychiatry). He already has an MPH and wide experience internationally. He is now training in general practice.
