About this event
Day One (Thursday 12 May): Results from the GGR-A Programme and next steps for research will focus on knowledge exchange between the two research programmes, involving academic researchers and programme stakeholders. It will present the main outcomes from the recently-completed Greenhouse Gas Removal Programme and include discussions on the next steps for GGR research and on pulling through knowledge for the new Greenhouse Gas Demonstrators Programme.
Day Two (Friday 13 May): The UK Greenhouse Gas Removal Landscape will connect policymakers, technology innovators, businesses, investors, environmental organisations and academics. It will present plans for the Greenhouse Gas Removal Demonstrators Programme and showcase the state-of-the art in GGR strategies in the UK, as well as bringing in perspectives from senior experts in other countries, including Germany and the US.
The event is organised jointly by the two major UKRI-funded GGR research programmes – the Greenhouse Gas Removal Programme (GGR-A) and the Greenhouse Gas Removal Demonstrators Programme (GGR-D).
