This event will present the findings of three major international research programmes funded by the European Commission’s Framework 7 programme, HELIX, IMPRESSIONS and RISES-AM, which examined scenarios of climate change and its impacts above 2oC global warming, including assessments of the potential for adaptation and the limits to this. This includes assessment of impacts and adaption concerning food and water security, biodiversity, human health, economics and human migration, at a range of scales from global to individual cities, including coastal areas.
