Supporting better evidence generation and use within social innovation in health
Dr Jenny Tran will discuss how evidence is generated and used to support social innovations in health in low and middle-income countries. Social innovators typically have little guidance as to how to rigorously and efficiently produce evidence to support effectiveness and feasibility of their interventions. With insights from over 30 in-depth interviews with innovators, funders, and policymakers, Dr Tran will discuss how understanding beliefs, attitudes, and approaches around evidence for social impact can better support evidence generation and use in health practice.
