How I Stopped Worrying and Learned to Love Big Chocolate
Part of the Skoll Centre’s Research for Action Seminar Series
Dr Kate Roll, Research Fellow, Saïd Business School

In this talk Dr Kate Roll will discuss her work managing research for the Oxford-Mars Mutuality in Business Project, which she does under the guidance of Professor Colin Mayer. The Mutuality in Business Project represents a new approach to such work, moving from a traditional funder relationship toward a more active partnership. Dr Roll will discuss the challenges of managing the at times conflicting needs and epistemic perspectives of the partner organisations, as well as the rewards of working closely with a corporation. With research for action at the core of the project, this talk should be relevant to researchers seeking greater engagement and impact with private sector actors.
