DANSOX Inaugural Summer School
ALASTAIR MACAULAY, former Chief Dance Critic at the New York Times, leads this three-day event. There will be:
Guest lectures by Alastair Macaulay on Petipa, Balanchine, Cunningham.
Seminars on dance history and theory with leading dance scholars.
Unique lecture demonstrations on technical and choreographic practice led by Susie Crow and Jennifer Jackson, formerly of the Royal Ballet.
Film showings in the evening.
All are welcome. You don’t have to be able to dance to come and watch, learn, and join discussions! Come for a day or two, or for the whole three days. Coffee and lunch provided for ticket holders.
