As part of the Blavatnik School of Government’s community engagement activities, we’re delighted to join forces with the Oxfordshire Climate Action Network to discuss Oxford’s place in the global landscape of local climate actions.
Cities around the world are taking bold and creative steps to help tackle climate change. Oxford has done some good work on this – but are we being left behind as other cities move forward and take a lead? How do we create our ‘pathway to 2050’ – a plan for how we cut emissions radically in our city and across the county, while also meeting local needs?
Come along and hear from people tackling this challenge and feed in your ideas. Oxford has plenty of energy, expertise and ideas – how do we tackle the problems we face and create a safe future?
