OUH NHS FT Parking Enforcement Policy – Q&A Session for University Staff
Please bring your University ID card. You will be required to sign in to the WIMM, so please give yourself plenty of time to sign in and make your way to the seminar room.
This session provides an opportunity to learn more about the imminent changes the OUH NHS Foundation Trust are making to parking and travel arrangements at the JR and Churchill Hospitals. University staff can raise questions and concerns directly with the OUH travel and transport team. The changes are planned to tackle the problematic parking issues at these sites and ultimately improve patients, visitor and staff access. As a reminder they include:
From 1 August 2016, traffic enforcement measures will be applied by the OUH NHS Foundation Trust to all vehicles parking on double red and yellow lines.
From 31 August 2016, cars parked without valid permits will receive penalty notices. In addition, a new OUH Staff Travel and Car Parking Policy will also be introduced which will have implications for University staff in terms of:
* revised eligibility criteria for parking permits,
* the removal of day passes
* changes to visitor parking
* Car share initiatives
* Car Pooling Spaces
* Improved access by public transport and bicycle to the Hospital sites
