Witness Seminar:
Pragna Patel is a founding member and Director of the Southall Black Sisters (SBS) and Women Against Fundamentalism. She trained and practised as a solicitor and has spoken and published widely on race, gender and religion. She will speak at this seminar about her own experiences of becoming a black feminist activist in Britain, and will reflect on how race, class, politics and education continue to influence women’s lives and opportunities in the UK and beyond.
