Cancer Genomics Training Day
Friday 27th March, 10am – 4.30pm, BDI, Course lead: David Wedge
This course is suitable for DPhil students and postdocs with an interest in cancer computational biology. Previous knowledge of cancer biology or genomics is not a requirement.
The workshop will present an overview of Cancer Genomics, describe the methods widely used in analysis of WGS data and summarise recent major findings and their impact on clinical practice. It will explore in detail 3 topics central to cancer genomics: mutational signatures and processes; copy number aberrations; evolution and heterogeneity.
