Annual 'Ethics in Film' night: The Constant Gardener
Ethics in Film presents a special screening of The Constant Gardener.

After his wife is found murdered in the wilderness, a low-ranking British diplomat begins to suspect that her death is part of a wider conspiracy. Retracing her path, he unearths a terrible secret and the legacy of a woman he never truly knew. Adapted from the novel by John Le Carre, this gripping romantic thriller from the director of City of God features an Oscar-winning performance by Rachel Weisz.

A one-off screening followed by an expert panel discussion and Q&A, organised by Ethics In Film at the Ethox Centre. This event is supported by Reuben College and the Wellcome Trust in collaboration with the Ultimate Picture Palace.

Angeliki Kerasidou (Chair) is Associate Professor in Bioethics at the Ethox Centre and Official Fellow of Reuben College. Her research interests are in the ethics of data-driven technologies in global health research and in healthcare.

Caesar Atuire is a health ethicist and philosopher at the University of Oxford, and Associate Professor of Applied Philosophy at the University of Ghana.

Erica Charters is Professor of Global History and Medicine and a historian of war, disease and empire at the University of Oxford.
