QResearch Oxford Data Linkage Project – new opportunities for collaborative Research
QResearch (www.qresearch.org) is one of the world’s largest medical research databases including data from GP practices linked to hospital, mortality, and cancer registry. It was set up in 2003 by Julia Hippisley-Cox who has recently taken up a post in Oxford as Professor of Clinical Epidemiology & General Practice in the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Sciences. She will illustrate the potential research uses of QResearch and how it can be accessed now that it is located in Oxford.
