Women and Social Mobility
Steph Lawler is a sociologist whose research has been concerned with social inequalities and social identities, particularly those of class, gender and generation. Her groundbreaking work includes research on women and social mobility in modern Britain. She will be in conversation with Selina Todd, whose history of social mobility, Snakes and Ladders: the Great British Social Mobility Myth, is published in February 2020.
