The Translational Research Office (TRO) is pleased to announce the return of Medical and Life Sciences Translational Fund (MLSTF) 2024 on Thursday 30th November 2023. MLSTF funds proof-of-concept projects at the earliest stages of translation, supporting preliminary work or feasibility studies to establish the viability of an approach.
We would like to bring to your attention the 2024 MLSTF Call Launch Event hosted by the TRO which will take place on the 29th of November 2023 at the Mathematical Institute, Oxford. This is an in-person event only and places are limited. Full details of the revamped MLSTF scheme will be revealed which includes enhanced support for Emerging Translational Research Leaders! The deadline to complete the registration form is the 22nd of November.
Previous successful MLSTF projects will be showcased, demonstrating successful pathways to translation. By popular request, this year’s event will also include a session on different segments of the application form, as well as an insight into the selection criteria used by the committee panel to review submitted applications. Three highly impacting and interactive panel discussions will take place on key elements of translation which often require expert advice. These include topics on the importance of milestones, IP strategy, and regulatory pathways.
