From bench to bedside - drug discovery for Parkinson's disease
Professor Oliver Bandmann is based at the Sheffield Institute for Translational Neuroscience (SITraN). The particular focus of his research is academically-led drug discovery for Parkinson’s disease (PD) and related disorders. A further focus of his work is mechanistic disease stratification of sporadic PD to enable future precision medicine approaches for PD.
