Status: This talk is in preparation - details may change
On the 12th September 2018, Dr Ben Goldacre published a paper in the BMJ entitled “Compliance with requirement to report results on the EU Clinical Trials Register: cohort study and web resource” This paper was subsequently used as evidence in a House of Commons, Science And Technology Committee Report on Research Integrity: clinical trial transparency where the Health Research Authority (HRA) were charged with devising a strategy.
The HRA have recently conducted a consultation on how they should best oversee compliance with the requirements for publication of results on a publically available website.
