We are delighted to invite you to our eighth and final event of Michaelmas 2022, which will take place on Tuesday, November 29, in the Old Library at All Souls College at 8:30pm. As always, there will be a wine reception prior to the event, starting at 8pm. The speaker will be Richard Connolly, who will be speaking to us on ‘Russia’s Defence Industry Under Sanctions’.

Dr Richard Connolly is currently Director of the Eastern Advisory Group and an Associate Fellow at the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI). He has also acted as a consultant to NATO, OSCE, defence ministries of the UK and US, as well as private sector companies across the world. Dr Connolly’s most recent books are Russia’s Response to Sanctions (2018), and the Very Short Introduction to the Russian Economy (2020).

Main access to the Old Library is via a steep staircase. Arrangements can be made for those with limited mobility to use a stairlift and a Fellow’s room to gain access. Please let us know as soon as possible if you require this type of assistance. Capacity is limited so please arrive early.
