Twenty-five years of Nipah Virus (NiV25)

To commemorate the 25th year since the initial Nipah virus outbreaks in Malaysia and Singapore, the Pandemic Sciences Institute henipavirus programme is hosting a half-day hybrid seminar covering the history and pathology of the disease and current work being undertaken in Oxford including on the recent outbreaks in India and response to these. The programme will include two talks (delivered virtually) from global experts in managing NiV outbreaks and/or pathology of NiV. It will also feature early career researchers from Oxford, who will present on the work they are doing across topics from ethics to analysing vaccine efficacy.
