Unseen Workers: the essential role of microbes
Unseen Workers invites you to join us for an evening of art, science and microbes.
Awareness is growing that microbes influence all aspects of life, yet much of this remains focused on the harm they can cause. Our event – Unseen workers: the essential roles of microbes – will celebrate the beneficial roles microbes play, from their role in healthy gut microbiomes to intricate symbioses with plants.
The exhibition will featuring work by local artists alongside a series of short talks by researchers working on beneficial microbes.
There will be a cash bar serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
This project has been made possible through the support of Oxford University and the British Ecological Society.
