Climate Change and the Global South

The Global South comprises much of the world in terms of population and geography. Yet, it tends to be marginal in discussions around climate change. If considered at all, the South is a space of climate disasters and dystopia. In this roundtable, we will reflect on southernness, and on the South and climate change from across disciplines and research themes. We are also interested in thinking about what a Euro-American consciousness of climate change may be missing.

Anyone who wishes to speak to the theme on the day is very welcome. No prior preparation required. Presentations are approximately 5-7 minutes, with free-flowing discussion afterwards.
