AI Storytelling & Shakespeare: Humanities meets the Creative Industries
Join us for a lunchtime presentation from the AI Shakespeare project. We will consider the benefits and drawbacks of industry collaboration
This session aims to provide a candid discussion of the challenges and benefits of working with the Creative Industries.
About StoryLab
Abigail met Annette Parry, COO of To Play For, at a Creative Industries workshop run in the Humanities Division in early 2019. Following a successful application for a small amount of Seed Funding, Abigail held a workshop with colleagues in the English Faculty to explore the potential educational uses of AI storytelling platform, Charisma.ai. A further application to the Business Engagement and Partnerships Seed Fund enabled the prototyping of two scenes from Romeo and Juliet and Macbeth.
Who is it for?
This session is for anyone who is interested in embarking on a collaborative project involving research and the Creative Industries.
