Oxford University International Women's Day 2015
Celebrate International Women’s Day by reflecting on feminism’s achievements and future path. With only 2 months to the General Election, this is your chance to hear about the state of women’s rights and feminism from informed and diverse speakers. Hear from Melissa Benn (author of What Should We Tell Our Daughters?), Trudy Coe (Head of Oxford University’s Equality and Diversity Unit) and Caroline Criado-Perez (feminist campaigner and journalist). This event is sponsored by Women in the Humanities at Oxford University and St Hilda’s College. It is open to all and will be followed by a drinks reception.
Timings: 5.15 (doors open), main event 5.30pm-6.45pm, drinks reception to follow, 6.45pm- 7.15pm.
