Status: This talk has been cancelled
Due to current concerns regarding the COVID-19 (coronavirus) outbreak, we have taken the decision to postpone this event to the autumn. The rescheduled event will be advertised later in the year at oxfordbrc.nihr.ac.uk/brc-events and oxfordbrc.eventbrite.com.
How do you assess the evidence behind health headlines? To separate the good from the bad, the truths from untruths, the advice you should act on and what you should ignore. Carl Heneghan, Professor of Evidence-Based Medicine and a regular contributor to BBC Radio 4’s Inside Health, will talk about how to assess the research evidence that regularly makes the news and affects your health.
