Peruvian Political Crisis: What's Next?
Following the coup attempt on December 7, 2022, social unrest has erupted in various regions of the country leaving over twenty dead and hundreds wounded. Given the events the country has experienced in recent years, it is necessary to understand the causes, consequences, and necessary reforms to bring an end to this crisis.
To better understand this consequential moment in Peru’s history, the Oxford Peruvian Society, with the support of the Latin American Centre at the University of Oxford, will host the panel discussion “Peruvian Political Crisis: What’s Next?” on Tuesday, January 17th at 6:00 p.m. GMT.
This is a hybrid event – audience members are welcome to attend in-person or on Zoom (in the latter case, please register using the link provided).
