The Nuffield College Centre for Applied Macro Policy (NuCamp) invites submissions to its first Virtual PhD Workshop, to be held via Zoom on Thursday April 23 and Friday April 24, 2020. The workshop will give students an opportunity to present their work and receive feedback despite current travel restrictions.
Submissions are welcome in all areas of macroeconomics. The workshop is particularly aimed at those going on the job market next year, but submissions from PhD students at earlier stages of research who would benefit from presenting their work will also be considered.
Presentations will be followed by a discussion. Authors of selected papers might also be asked to discuss a paper related to their field of research. University of Oxford faculty members will attend the presentations.
The deadline for submissions is midnight, Sunday April 12, 2020. Please email your paper to ox.phd.macro@gmail.com. The conference organisers are Julian Ashwin and Alistair Macaulay (both University of Oxford), who will finalise the programme shortly after the deadline.
