Led by Martin Landray from the Big Data Institute and Guna Ragaopal, VP – Global Head, Computational Sciences, Discovery Sciences at Janssen pharma this seminar will highlight emerging research areas in data science and the likely future impact on human disease research.
Janssen’s project leads will present on their key areas of research interest and Oxford investigators including Julian Knight, Jerome Kelleher and Alejo Nevado-Holgado will present on current projects. An experienced panel including Martin Landray, Sir Simon Lovestone, Trevor Howe, Cecilia Lindgren and Cornelia van Duijn will discuss key questions with the aim of highlighting future areas for potential collaboration.
This event is open to all Oxford staff with an interest in data science and genomics and attendees are free to attend all or part of the meeting according to interest.
