The Conception X Cohort 8 Discovery Session is an event for prospective PhD students at the University of Oxford. This session introduces Conception X, a leading cross-university PhD venture programme that helps students transform their research into impactful deeptech ventures.

Conception X supports PhD students in launching start-ups rooted in deep technology. Since its launch in 2018, the programme has guided over 500 students, helping create 125 companies and raising over £100 million in early-stage funding—all at no cost to students and with no equity taken.
