We are delighted to invite you to our final event of Hilary 2023, which will take place on Tuesday, March 7, in the Old Library at All Souls College at 8:30 pm. As always, there will be a wine reception prior to the event, starting at 8:00 pm.
This week we’ll be discussing the geopolitics of Belarus in the context of the war in Ukraine and whether Belarus is likely to open a new front in the anticipated Russian offensive.
We’ll be joined by Laurynas Jonavičius, an esteemed lecturer at Vilnius university and an advisor to the current Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania. Mr Jonavičius is a renowned regional expert, who has previously served as a foreign policy advisor to the President of Lithuania from 2009 to 2014, and as an Associate Expert at the Eastern Europe Studies Centre.
