In this talk, the Minister of Finance of the Federal Republic of Somalia will discuss the opportunities and challenges at this juncture of international financial institutions re-engagement after over two decades of civil war.

The Minister will focus his discussion on Somalia’s fiscal reforms, the opportunities for economic growth and the pathway to clearing the national debt of Somalia under the IMF Staff Monitored Program.
