iSkills for Medical Sciences and OUH Trust: Introduction to systematic reviews and evidence syntheses
An online introductory session to the principles and methodologies that underpin the conduct of literature searches for systematic reviews and evidence syntheses. It will cover: formulating a search strategy to address research questions; applying methodological search filters to restrict by study type; choosing appropriate databases and search engines; searching for grey literature and ongoing studies; documenting and reporting your search; storing and managing references.
Intended audience: students and researchers in Oxford University’s Medical Sciences Division and OUH staff.
