We are pleased to announce the 6th Sino-UK Innovation and Development Forum with the theme “Green innovation and inclusive development”. This event will be held virtually on Wednesday 3rd November and Thursday 4th November, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. London time (17:30 – 20:30 Beijing time) on both days respectively. The forum will include the IDMODEL China High Level conference on Thursday, 4th November with the theme ‘Digital Innovation and Inclusive Development’. This year’s forum will be hosted by The Oxford Technology and Management Centre for Development (TMCD) together with Surrey Centre for Innovation and Commercialization (SCIC), University of Surrey, Sino-UK Innovation Policy and Management Research Network (IPRN), and will be co-organized with the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Technology for Development (CASTED) of the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Chinese Academy of Sciences Institutes of Science and Development (CASISD), the China Britain Business Council (CBBC) and HSBC Business School, Peking University, and supported by Tencent.
Since 2016, the TMCD has annually organised the Sino-UK Innovation & Development Forum. This platform brings together academics, policymakers and industry professionals from both the UK and China to discuss and share perspectives on how to leverage STI research and policy for the mandate of development.
