UG Thesis Panel
Join us for our first thesis panel of the year, and this week we are showcasing the work of some brilliant undergraduate students. This session is an opportunity to hear about new and developing research from emerging students here at Oxford. Our speakers on this panel will be: Benoit Mes, Ella Ozkan, and Indigofera Rosen-Hunt.
Benoit Mes (he/him)
Bio: Benoit Mes is a 3rd year undergraduate, studying History at Pembroke College.
Title: Before Loving: Interracial Marriage, Anti-Miscegenation Law, and the Boundaries of Race in Twentieth Century America
Ella Ozkan (she/her)
Bio: Ella Ozkan is a 3rd year undergraduate, reading History at St Peter’s College.
Title: ‘Remaking[ing] his past’: A comparison of racialised intentions in the conduct and editing of the WPA Ex-Slave Narratives.
Indigofera Rosen-Hunt (she/her)
Bio: Indigo Rosen-Hunt is a third-year student studying History and Politics at University College, Oxford. She is a devoted East Londoner, trustee of a children’s arts charity and frequenter of the Feminist Library. She is particularly interested in intersectionality, Marxist-feminism, post-colonialism, and queer studies. In her spare time, she enjoys writing poetry, cultural commentaries and the occasional song.
