Departmental Seminar: The challenges and opportunities of reproducible research; the perspectives of a scientist who wears many hats
Online via Zoom
The challenges faced ensuring reproducibility of preclinical research and the translation of findings to a clinical setting are well documented. I will discuss the magnitude of this problem, the opportunities and responsibilities of different research stakeholders to ensure that research is reproducible and my experiences, in different stakeholder roles, on tackling these challenges.
Dr Emily Sena is the Stroke Association Kirby Laing Foundation Senior Lecturer at the University of Edinburgh.
