Professor Miguel Beltrán de Felipe is Professor of Law at the University of Castilla-La Mancha, Spain. He has a PhD in Law from the Complutense University of Madrid. He has worked as law clerk in the Spanish Constitutional Court (1998 – 2002), as President of the Regional Board for Expropriation of Castilla-La Mancha (2004 – 2005), as Deputy Director at the Undersecretariat for Congressional Relations, in the Government of Spain (2005 –2006), as Fulbright/APSA Congressional Fellow, in the House of Representatives in Washington D.C. (2006 –2007), as Adjunct Professor in Georgetown University Law Center, also in Washington DC (2007), as external consultant for the Organisation of the American States (2007 – 2011) and for Freedom House, in Mexico (2013), and as Visiting Professor at the Universities of Modena and of Bologna, in Italy (2016 – 2017). He is the author of two dozens of books, papers and articles on Constitutional Law, Human Rights Administrative Law, Urban Planning Law, and co-author of a documentary on the history of the Spanish Constitutional Court.
