OSSG: Admiral Stuart Munsch
We are very excited to be hosting Admiral Stuart Munsch. The talk will take place on Tuesday, November 26th in the Old Library at All Souls College at 8:30pm. As always, there will be a drinks reception prior to the event, starting at 8pm.
Admiral Stuart Munsch is Commander, Allied Joint Force Command Naples, and Commander, US Naval Forces in Europe and Africa. In this role, he directs a combined NATO staff responsible for planning, preparing and conducting military operations throughout the Supreme Allied Commander’s area of responsibility. He is also a member of the Council on FOreign Relations and a US Supreme Court Statecraft Fellow. As of June 2024, he is also the US Navy’s Old Goat, the longest serving United States Naval Academy graduate on active duty. Over the course of his career, he has been stationed in Japan and Bahrain, commanded the attack submarine USS Albuquerque and served as Director for Joint Force Development.
A £2 fee for attendance at the speaker event is kindly requested in cash or bank transfer for all non-members of OSSG. If you need to renew your membership, you can do so on our website or at the door.

Main access to the Old Library is via a steep staircase. Arrangements can be made for those with limited mobility to use a stairlift and a Fellow’s room to gain access. Please let us know if you require this type of assistance. Capacity is limited so please arrive early.
