READINGS & DISCUSSION with poet Antoine Hummel '‘Let it flow, mais keep it slow’'
Readings and discussion with an autobiographical poet, Antoine Hummel: “Let it flow, mais keep it slow.” Scrupules et confessions, 29th May 2024 at the Maison française d’Oxford, 5-7pm, followed by wine and cheese.

Antoine Hummel is one of the major contemporary French poets and a performer. His most recent publications include Ça joue. Fanfare confessionnelle at La Tempête in February 2024, and Le Club at Zoème in 2023. He has animated and written for several magazines such as Legovil and Enculer. His thesis, “Pas spécialement poétique”, on the “dé-spécialisation” of contemporary poetic practice and focusing on Christophe Tarkos and Nathalie Quintane, is available on his website www.testanonpertinente.net/PSP, which also gathers a lot of his poetic work, written or audio recorded (see testanonpertinente.net/?p=13685 for instance).

We will hear Antoine read extracts from his work. This will be followed by a discussion moderated by Mathieu Farizier.
